Aurora WDC Analysis: A Garter estimates that despite the eventual end of the pandemic, 41% of workers are likely to work remotely at least some of the time after lockdowns are lifted. The same study estimates that the average full-time worker is 3.5 times more likely to work across five or more teams. It is critical that platforms rise to meet the expectations of employees who will continue to work remotely into the future. The same Garter analysis finds that two fifths of employees are seeking more self directed work. During the coronavirus, a time when many workers are remote, it is important that platform users are operating on allows them to accomplish team goals while providing the sort of self direction that will be crucial without onsite management.
